Celebrating 2025 Clinical Trials Day

Current and past clinical trial participants, clinical trials staff and donors gathered together this week to celebrate International Clinical Trials Day at a morning tea hosted by the Barwon Health Foundation.

Guests were welcomed by Francis Trainor from the Barwon Health Foundation, who introduced Dr Caitlin Murphy from the Barwon Health Cancer Services Trials Unit. Dr Murphy spoke about the the importance and impact of cancer trials at Barwon Health, and shared some exciting news about future developments in Barwon Health cancer clinical trials.

The event is such an important one on the Barwon Health calendar, as it give us a chance to thank our staff for their tireless efforts, our donors and supporters for their generosity and good will, and our trial participants for their courage and willingness to make such a vital contribution to knowledge and community health.
