Background
I am a senior consultant psychiatrist in my 30th year of experience in public psychiatry. I have been with Barwon Health since June 2025. My previous appointments have included: Director Clinical Services, Mental Health at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne 2009-2025; Director of the North East Area Mental Health Service 2003-2008/consultant psychiatrist at Austin Health 2001-2008.
I was appointed as an Affiliate Professor, School of Medicine, Deakin University in 2025.
I have been an Academic and Research staff, member 2001-2018 / honorary 2019- at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne, and as an Associate Professor 2013-2025.
Research Focus
Clinical translation of research in Obsessive Compulsive and related disorders.
