Background

I studied at Ballarat University for my undergrad In nursing. I completed a Graduate Program at RMH and moved over to Perth to work in a newly established State Trauma Unit for 2 years, while also completing an Honours Degree in Nursing at Murdoch University (WA).

Following my return to Geelong I have held various positions clinically at Barwon Health as well as  a research position at Monash University (Department of Epidemiology) and a sessional teaching position at Deakin University (Nursing). I furthered my studies with a Master in Public Health (Clinical Research) my thesis titled “Validation study of the modified REMS score in the inter-hospital population of Victoria.”

I started working at the Cardiology Research Unit in 2018 and I’m currently the Acting Unit Manager.

Research Focus

I have a strong interest in the differences in Women with cardiovascular disease particularly why there a difference between the number of women who participate in trials. I also have a strong interest in metrics and KPI in clinical trials.
